| Designed for use with the Inject+Matic Sleeper, the TAS replaces CO2 anaesthesia thus eliminating the costly and burdensome CO2 tanks and installation. This unique device extracts and concentrates nitrogen directly from the air, which is then directed through the Inject+Matic foot pedal-controlled flowbed or hand-held pistol. The Sleeper Gas containing nitric oxide (NO), has proven to be as reliable and safe as CO2 in anesthetizing drosophila.
To operate the TAS system, there is no need for special laboratory conditions. Simply plug the TAS system into the outlet and then into your Inject+Matic Sleeper. The TAS system is added to the Inject+Matic Sleeper apparatus in seconds for immediate use.
