The Oxford Manipulator is constructed almost entirely in stainless steel to minimize ealsticity of movement and corrosion. Many instruments of this type are now in use in all fields of science and industry, i.e., embryology, mycology and the positioning of the small components in manufacturing. When the manipulator is used for the transfer of mammalian ova in embriological research, a microsyringe, such as our 51218 Microsyringe, is required. Each Oxford Manipulator includes its own base, wooden storage cabinet and small tool kit for standard adjustments.
